Pat (Scott)
Scott is a 5 year old German Shepherd who would never walk to heal and being a very dominant dog has to be out in front leading the pack. As Scott is approximately 50kg I found it impossible to walk him as he would pull me over to get to other dogs or cats or to just prove his dominance.
June from Dog Savvy came to the rescue and after only half an hour had Scott walking to heel. I took over from June and initially Scot refused to walk to heel for me but using June's method of training he soon realised that I would not give in to his dominance and he started to walk to heel. Now on most occasions Scott will walk to heal with very little correction. He occasionally still tried to prove his dominance but that is becoming less and less as I persevere with the Dog Savvy method of training.
I have used this method to correct other forms of bad behaviour, for example, barking when anyone walks past our house and have almost eliminated this problem, so we have a much more relaxed dog and household.
Many thanks June

In the past we have tried training with both RSPCA and Bark Busters with very limited results. Since using Dog Savvy our Red Heeler Harry has become more settled around other dogs and people. June cares about how our dog's training is progressing and she is always there at the other end of the phone if you have any problems or just need some encouragement. With Bark Busters, after the two initial visits ($450) we never heard from the trainer again whereas June will give you a call to check on your progress.
Also, I have to add that their collar is the best invention ever (and we have tried every type out there including choke chains and harnesses)! We noticed an immediate difference in the control we had on lead and a huge reduction in the pulling.
I would not hesitate to recommend June to anyone, as unlike other trainers, she understands that changing your dog's behaviour is not going to happen in two lessons. It is an ongoing process which has to concentrate on your dog’s specific issues!

Bianca (Jet)
Jetson is a 4 year old American staffy x lab. He is a beautiful friendly dog that means the world to me. Jet likes to think, besides his size, he is a lap dog and always greets you with a big smile. Besides his beautiful nature it really has been a hard four years with him as his whole life he has suffered from separation anxiety to the point that he would harm himself trying to get out of the house, jump fences and constant barking.
I have turned to many trainers who have excused his behaviour because of his anxiety and vets have suggested euthanasia which is not an option for Jet. I have tried many gadgets and training methods without success and even tried Doggy Day care but due to Jet wanting human attention he got himself expelled and I was quickly running out of ideas.
I saw June's advert and reached out to her. She sympathised with my situation and came out a couple of days later to meet Jet. June really held our hand through the process and was the first person I would call when Jet challenged the training techniques put into place. June always had suggestions and helped me through a very challenging journey.
Four months in I have finally achieved a balanced well rounded dog that stays outside during the day without jumping fences, or barking or getting himself into an anxious frenzy. He is enjoying life and is becoming comfortable in his own skin which I never thought would be possible.
Without June I really could not have achieved any of this. I recommend her services to all dog owners particularly those with dogs that have a few extra 'issues' and need an understanding, knowledgeable leader to guide them through.
